Studio Job

Antwerp-based artist collective Studio Job was founded in 2000 by Job Smeets (Belgian, born 1970) and Nynke Tynagel (Dutch, born 1977). Smeets and Tynagel met while studying at the Design Academy Eindhoven. Smeets graduated with a degree in 3D design in 1996. Tynagel joined his studio in 2000 after completing her degree in graphic design.

They are Archibald Prize finalists, won the Chianciano Biennale in Italy, took out the Allens People’s Choice Award in 2016 and 2018 and Kids’ Choice Award in the 2016 Sculpture by the Sea and received the Bayside Arts Festival People’s Choice Award in 2019 in Sydney.
