The artwork Awakening was created to be exhibited in the section Le Banquet inside the Grand Palais in Paris on the occasion of the Biennale Révélations 2025.
This design of a geometric flower expresses a natural, living element that evolves and transforms itself. It spiral forms are ancient shapes that symbolize the evolution of the universe and growth. In the play of colours, the artist was inspired by the paintings of Sonia Delaunay. The techniques used are tufting, free weaving, embroidery, crochet and punchneedle.
